Sandcastles

The Sandcastles project explores how we treat history and memories. Pictures show WWII German bunkers on the West Coast of Denmark disappearing into the sands of time. These concrete remnants, built for wartime defense, now peacefully coexist with the lively scenes at Søndervig beach. The ’Sandcastles. 10 billeder fra Ringkøbing’ souvenir book extends this exploration, illustrating the struggle to capture the fleeting moments and pin them down.
